I printed a test page and it came out perfect. I took the chance, bought the key, used the tool to reset firmware to chipless firmware, it was successful at the first go.Īt this point, printer showed all ink levels 100%. I came across this WIC reset utility and was really skeptical if it will work. I was finally going to buy new cartridges however stores were closed today so I decided to look for chip-resetting tool but nothing good was available locally. I tried everything, cleaning contacts etc, nothing worked. I did some head cleaning using glass cleaner and syringes as shown on various youtube video.Īfter that, my printer didn't recognize two of the cartridges. I did a lot of cleaning, head cleaning, put new cartridge but no luck. I had Epson WF-2650 and it wasn't printing fully, skipping lines, even though colors were full. Please note that you DO need to redirect the waste ink or replace the waste ink pads or you may risk dealing with an over-spilled printer.Ī wise investment into this program. Thanks to this service program, it took away the warning message and I can continue using my R340 with the CISS. As I know these printers are not made to be "servicable", and I am not ready to pay another hundred pounds for a new printer, I was devastated. Was pulling my hairs out when my R340 displayed the message "parts reaching end of service life, see manual". I have downloaded adjustment program and resetted the waste ink counter. We are in business since 2002 and do our best to give our customers perfect service!
